1925-1930. The first commercial Leica. First 35mm mass-produced camera. This is the Elmar version of the Leica I(a). Models with four digits models are more valuable than those with five digits. Non-upgraded four digit cameras are rare. Close focus Elmar (1.5 feet) is just a little bit more valuable than the regular Elmar.
