This Bakelite camera was introduced circa 1947 and uses 127 roll films with eight 4x6.5cm exposures. The camera originally cost $9.95, case $3.95, and flash unit sold for $4.51. At the end of production in 1956, the entire outfit sold for $4.95. The camera was made by the Federal Manufacturing & Engineering Corporation of Brooklyn, New York, USA. It features a large detachable flash unit that accepted No. 5 bayonet base flash-bulbs, a two connector hot shoe, a red round window in the back cover for frame count, a built-in view optical finder, film advance knob, large shutter release button, and a permanently fixed carry strap. It is fitted with a dual-element meniscus fixed focus, 64 mm Ultrafed lens, and a single speed Type A Flash-Matic 1/30 of a second Shutter for both daylight and flash photographs.
