As mentioned above, some of these cameras were made in The Netherlands by a company named Franerex. here is a nice example

Hello,
The Dauphin II "Made in Holland" is quite scarce (even in France). it is interesting to compare the first version of the Dauhin made in France by Alsaphot and the Dauphin II sub contracted in Holland.

But the Dauphin II was also produced in France - any idea how many were produced in France versus Holland ?

Perfectly right, the Dauphin II was also produced in France. I did not find any information about the number of Dauphin II produced in Holland. The history and causes of the cooperation between the French company Alsaphot and the Dutch manufacturer is quite unclear. Some info are provided on this page:
